idio is a content technology specialist that helps large brands and publishers (including household names and national newspapers) who want to create more value from their content. Our core technology is a cloud-based semantic analysis platform, which enables us to analyse, categorise, personalise and behaviourally track content across over 12 million topics. We use an enterprise-level content analytics approach to deliver very tangible and valuable use-cases for a variety of organisations. We are growing fast.

As lead developer, you will be involved in a range of work on a daily basis:
- Planning and building personalized, social, distributed and scalable content solutions for large clients
- Planning and building new products internally
- Researching and blogging
- Developing your own projects
What skills you will bring:
- 1-3 years commercial experience in framework-oriented development
- On the cutting edge of web technologies and trends
- Always learning under pressure, whilst improving your own standards as well as ours
- Able to figure out solutions to complex problems
- Able to meet deadlines, manage own time efficiently, and work very quickly
- Comfortable working with many APIs and the major social platforms
- PHP/MySQL, xHTML/CSS, JavaScript
- iPhone app development experience a bonus
We are a close-knit team, working in a nice office in Southernhay, Exeter, with a growing list of multi-national clients. We don’t work for objectionable clients or on dead-end projects. We are continually experimenting with new ideas in and around the publishing industry, and are very analytics focused and data-driven. We work in a fast-paced environment, and you will find that no two days are the same.
